The Ghana Federation of the Disabled, the Network of Journalists For the Promotion of the Rghts of persons with Disabilities in Africa and MindFreedom Ghana on the 23rd June 2010 presented over one million signatures signed up by the good people of Ghana throughout the ten regions of Ghana in support of the ratification of the United Nations Convention on the rights of perssons with disabilities and the passage of the Ghana mental Heal bill to the Minister of Employment and social welfare and the speaker of Parliament.
The campaign was supported by the Disability Rights Fund. The delegation which was made up of OPWDs to parliament was led by the Executive Director of GFD Mrs. Rita Kyerema Kusi,
